I'm a little sad that the holidays are just about over, but we have enjoyed this year so much. Kyler has been so much fun and takes us back to when we were kids. It has been a lot of fun making new traditions as a little family and deciding what new ones we would like to start. December was a packed month full of parties, shopping, wrapping, decorating, baking, and just enjoying the season.

Christmas Part One...
Warning: Get ready for a picture overload!!
I'm a little sad that the holidays are just about over, but we have enjoyed this year so much. Kyler has been so much fun and takes us back to when we were kids. Grandma & Grandpa Ward's Christmas party.
All of the new great grand babies getting their picture taken with grandma & grandpa. There has been a baby born every month since June (except July). It is fun seeing how much difference there is being a couple months apart.(One baby is missing from the picture. Macy wasn't feeling well that night).
Grandma & Grandpa Walker. They waited almost 7 years to finally get a grandchild. Who would have ever thought our family would be so blessed this year to have 2 new babies join us.
Kyler playing with an early Christmas gift from Michelle and her family. It is the cutest elephant that honks different tunes when you push it's legs. Kyler is so amused by it.

Christmas Part 2...
Christmas day was a busy day going from one side of the family to the other. We enjoyed spending time at the Cook's and eating a wonderful breakfast brunch. Shirley spends most of the morning cooking a wonderful meal for her family. After eating brunch we open presents and enjoy each others company. They spoiled us as usual and we sure appreciate everything that they do for our family. We love you guys!!!

I love what Kyler's bib says: "Most Precious Gift" what a perfect saying for such a perfect baby. We feel so blessed to have him in our lives.
Kyler hanging out with uncle Jake.

Christmas night was spent out at my parent's house. We enjoyed another great meal and more presents. We feel so blessed to live so close to both sides of our families and be able to spend time together. Sometimes it gets kind of crazy going from one side to the other, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Family is so important to us and we love being able to have them be apart of our life.

Here's my adorable niece Annie in her new Christmas outfit. She is the cutest little cowgirl around.
My sister and her boyfriend Cody.
My dad, brother, sister-in-law, and niece.
My other sister Kami and her boyfriend Joe. (Sorry Ty I didn't get a picture of you).
My mom got Kyler and Annie matching pajama's. I love this picture, Annie is looking at Kyler trying to put her arm around him and make him happy.

Birthday Weekend...
So this past weekend we headed up to Park City for a few nights to celebrate Jason's birthday. We were a little nervous taking Kyler on his first vacation, but he did a great job!! I think he slept better up there than he normally does at home. We left Saturday morning and tried to get ahead of the storm, but still ended up having slick roads to drive on. It snowed the entire time we were at Park City, it made for a very cozy weekend. Jason was very anxious to go skiing at the Canyons, but because of bad road conditions his brother wasn't able to make it up to ski with him, so he decided it would have to wait for another weekend.

Thanksgiving '09
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! I love how it is a simplified holiday, spent just relaxing and enjoying each others company. I also love that it kicks of the holiday season. This year for Thanksgiving we went to my grandma & grandpa Walker's house. It was a small get together with just my family, grandparents, and aunt and uncle from Salmon.
Our 1st Thanksgiving as a family!!

We must have really worn Kyler out. That night he slept for 9 hours straight. Holidays can be so rough for this little ones.
Over the long weekend we went and got our tree, enjoyed a second Thanksgiving on Friday with Jason's side of the family, and Jason braved his 1st year of black Friday shopping. He stood in line for an hour in the freezing cold in Logan to get some great deals at Home Depot. We had a great holiday weekend and can't wait until the next one.
2 Months
Where does the time go? Kyler turned 2 months old on Monday. He is such a sweet baby and we love being his parents. We took him in today for his 2 month check-up and shots. He is just a little guy only weighing 9 lbs. 1 oz. and 22 1/4 inches tall. The doctor had us switch his formula to a higher calorie one. It has a whopping 22 calories per ounce. Hopefully that will help him gain some weight. We have to take him back in 2 weeks and have them check his weight. Hopefully we can fatten him up. Some other things that he is doing at 2 months include:
*He is starting to smile.
*He can recognize his mom & dad's voice.
*Sleeps for about 4 to 5 hours at a time.
*Coo's at you when you are talking to him.
*Loves to bath and kick in the water.
*Holds his head pretty well.
*Loves to cuddle
*Loves to lay by the tree and look at the lights.
Here are a few pictures of him at 2 months old.
It's so hard to get a good smiling picture. One of these days I will time it just right.

THANKFUL
More than ever, this Thanksgiving I have so much to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love how simple it is and that it allows us to really focus on what's important in life. So here are a few of the things that I am most thankful for.
Zack and Michelle There aren't words to express how thankful we are for these two. They have given us the greatest gift possible. They are our hero's and we love them to pieces.
Kyler I love this little guy so much and I can't believe I get to be his mommy. He is such a sweet baby, and I'm loving every minute with him.
