Khloe's Tea Party

We celebrated Khloe's 3rd Birthday with a
"Tea Party".
I kept it pretty simple this year and actually was able to use left over decorations from last year.

Khloe sure does LOVE her grandpa's.

Weekend Words

This poor blog has really taken a back seat the past few months, but since I love to look back at the little things in life that are easily forgotten, I'll continue to try and update it:)

The weather last weekend was PERFECT!!!
We spent a lot of time out working in the garden trying to get it ready for planting in just a few short weeks.

Khloe was a big help with planting the peas.
Now if we can just keep the dog from digging them up:(

The kids enjoyed having a picnic out in the orchid while I tried to give our front porch a little Spring facelift.

Saturday afternoon we made a visit to one of my favorite places,
Mountain View Nursery.
The kids were entertained with the goats while I decided on what flowers I want in my pots for the season.

Sunday we hosted our first family party at our new home.

2nd Trimester

This pregnancy has flown by!!!
(I'm now 33 weeks)
I guess with moving, house projects, and the day to day life there hasn't been much down time.

I have been horrible about documenting this amazing experience and since this blog is my main source of journaling I figured I should record a few facts about my 2nd trimester.

*My energy level has been almost back to normal, which is a good thing since during the 2nd trimester we MOVED!!!
I think that has been the hardest thing for me to deal with during  pregnancy is not being able to accomplish what I normally would.

*I haven't had any weird cravings, but Chick-fil-A sandwiches, Maddox turkey steaks, and Mt. Dew always sound good!!!

*I've been able to start exercising again (was restricted from exercising during the 1st trimester) which has been a nice stress reliever for me.

*I've never experienced acid reflux until now, and hopefully after pregnancy I never experience it again:(

*Sleep is becoming less and less comfortable. Most nights I end up in the recliner around 2:00 a.m.
I can't wait until I can sleep on my stomach again.

*I felt the baby move for the 1st time the middle of December. Such an amazing experience that I thought I would never get to have!!!

*Had my big 20 week ultrasound and everything looks GREAT!!!

It is still hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that
I'M ACTUALLY PREGNANT!!!

I'm so happy that I get to experience it and that I don't have to wonder my whole life what it would have been like?

Here's to hoping that the 3rd trimester goes smoothly and I can embrace and enjoy this amazing journey!!!

Family Ski Day

With all the snow that we got this winter, you would have thought we would have planned a ton of family ski days.
However, with my current condition not being able to ski and most of the big snowstorms happening on the weekends, we've only managed to hit the slopes as a family once.

3 Years Old

I can't believe Khloe is already 3 years old.
I'm LOVING this stage and wish I could freeze her.
She is full of spunk and can be very moody, but on the flip side she can be the sweetest most lovable little girl.
You never know what you are going to get with her:))

Things I want to remember about her at this stage.
1. She is very easy going and will entertain herself for hours.

2. She loves to play.
It doesn't matter if it's dolls, cars, trains, blocks, coloring, etc.

3. She loves animals of any kind.

4. She is a VERY picky eater. Some of her favorites are french fries, Chick-fil-A, pancakes.

5. She loves going to nursery, however she is the only girl in her class.

6. She loves to wear her red cowgirl boots.

7. She is still very petite. She weighs around 25 pounds and wears 2t clothing.

8. Her favorite shows are Max & Ruby and Peppa Pig.

9. She has stopped taking naps:( but occasionally she will take one if I'll sit and hold her and tickle her back.

10. She loves being outside as long as it's warm. She wasn't a fan of winter and pretty much refused to go out in the cold.

Happy Birthday Peanut,
We Love You!!!
