Easter

We drove for 8 hours straight to make it home for Easter Sunday!! After being gone for a week straight we were all happy to see Lucy. 

We celebrated Easter down in the meadow with my side of the family. 

The kids were so excited to have plenty of space to run and play with cousins. The highlight of the day was trying to hit uncle Ty with hard boiled eggs!!!

Easter round two was celebrated a week later with Jason’s family. Grandma Shirley surprised the girls with a BUNNY!!! 

 

Spring Break Day 7

Saturday, April 3rd we woke up early to explore the tide pools, but realized that the tide hadn't gone out yet. So while we were waiting we enjoyed our Easter brunch a day early and listened to the morning session of General Conference. Once the tide reseeded we were able to explore all of the amazing tide pools. This was probably Kyler's favorite part of the entire trip. We spent a few hours on the beach and then hit the road. It just so happened that the tulip festival was going on and it happened to be on our route for home. We enjoyed walking around for a few hours checking out the beautiful flower fields. To end our day we stopped and hiked around an amazing waterfall and ate a quick dinner before hitting the road for a late night of driving.
