Father's Day Weekend...

Father's Day Weekend was a busy one!!!
We kicked off our weekend of celebrating dad's
Saturday morning with a yummy breakfast.

My grandma Walker had everyone out for breakfast followed by
playing in the water. Kyler is always in heaven when we go to her parties, because
there are so many older boy cousins that he can tag along with. I appreciate how kind they
are to him and always let him tag along and act like a big boy:)

These two men are the only grandpa's that Kyler has left.
I couldn't ask for better ones, and hope that he has many years of memory making ahead with them.

Saturday afternoon we headed to a
Cook family reunion at Cherry Hill.

We enjoyed visiting with family for a few hours and then enjoyed
checking out and swimming until the closed.

Sunday morning was kind of rushed since we have
early morning church so we had to wait until
after church to give dad his gift.
Kyler gave Jason a fishing license so they can actually try to catch something next time they go.

We ended Sunday with a yummy dinner that my mom had made
and enjoyed relaxing on a warm summer evening.

Monday we honored Gary by going to his
favorite place in town (Sonic) and
then released balloons at the cemetery with messages
that we had written tied to them.

Big Boy...

About a month ago Kyler started pestering us
to take his training wheels off.
Of course we told him he wasn't big enough (3 1/2 years)
yet to balancing it and left it at that.

Well a few weekends ago at a family gathering he decided
to prove us wrong. He jumped on one of the cousins bikes and
took off without any problems.

So we now have a big boy that LOVES to ride his bike!!!
He still crashes every once in awhile, but does an
awesome job most of the time.

The other night we went to the cemetery so he could ride around on nice flat roads.
It was the perfect place!!!
Plenty of puddles to drive through and people to talk to.
There was an older couple that he drove past. As he passed them he said, "Hi, cool motorcycle huh."
Awhile later he saw two girls walking and he said, "Hey let's go follow those girls." Once he was close enough to them he had to show them how fast he could go.
