August’s Little Things

It’s been FOREVER since I’ve posted anything to this old blog. As an attempt to get caught up I’m going to upload pictures (even though they upload out of order) and to a quick recap!!!

The month of August brought some crazy weather/windstorms. At one point our trampoline ended up airborne and in the garden. 

The girls got a haircut (Olivia’s first) in preparation for back-to-school. 

Jason and I enjoyed a date night to the Lonestar concert.

Man, I like nineties country!!

Cousin day at Lagoon, always a favorite!!

Put in some extra time getting Chris P. Bacon ready for the fair. 

Back-to-school night for Kyler. 

We organized an end of summer primary activity complete with bounce houses and all you can eat otterpops.

Fair Week…Day 5

 Saturday is always a bittersweet day. After a week of go, go, go we are all ready for it to be over, but everyone is sad because it is over!!!

Kyler had another early morning wake up to get ready for the junior livestock sale. 

That night we went to the rodeo and then said our final goodbyes to 

Chris P. Bacon. 

Fair Week… Day 4

 Friday was Khloe and Olivia’s big day. 

They were so excited to dress up and show their bunny and chicken. 

The show ended up being kind of silly, but they sure had fun!! 

The rest of the day was spent hanging out, picking up the premium money, and spending it.
