Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving Weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the entire year. It probably has something to do with the fact it's a weekend of my favorite things.
Good food, family time, shopping, kick-off to the holiday season, movies, and decorating for Christmas.

This year was a Walker year and everyone was able to make it.

We are finally to the point that there are several cousins and they actually all play well together.

Can't get enough of these cute cousins.

One of my favorite meals of the year by one of the BEST cooks.

I had to laugh at Khloe's plate.
She is such a PICKY eater!!!!

Friday I got up early and went shopping ALONE!!!
It's been a long time since I've been able to get in and out of the car without the hassle of carseats:))
That night we went to the Grover Party, one of my favorites, and enjoyed another yummy meal and visiting.
Of course the boys had to play the famous "Rock" game.
They have to lay on the floor and be like a rock(or log). The one that lasts the longest without moving wins.
Kyler and Parker tied for the win.
They lasted 40 MINUTES!!!

We usually go bowling as a family, but Khloe wasn't feeling up to it so we ended up bowling in Ogden before the Light Parade started. It was a fun night and the weather was PERFECT for a parade.

"Seasons"

Why are some of the sweetest moments in life the ones that seem to pass by the quickest?

It seems like Fall comes and goes in a blink of an eye and you are left wishing it hadn't happened so FAST.

I feel like my phase of life right now is a "FALL SEASON".
Even though it's completely exhausting taking care of 3 little ones and honestly most days I go to bed feeling like a failure I know I will look back one day and wish that it hadn't passed so quickly.

On a side note, Khloe was not happy that we made her get out of the car to look at leaves, hence the grumpy face in all of the pictures.

October's Little Things

October is one of my favorite months of the year. It's full of simple traditions, perfect weather, and beautiful fall leaves.

We started the month with one of my favorite weekends of the year. Keeping kids entertained for
8 hours of conference is no easy thing:)

Enjoying a  night in the mountains looking at leaves and using Kyler's birthday present.

Jason enjoyed his annual fishing trip to Island Park with the guys.

While Jason was gone fishing the kids and I enjoyed an afternoon of fun at the Ferry's Pumpkin Patch.

Colder weather meant it was time for some new footie pajamas.

Picking out our pumpkins for carving.

The hardest part of moving from our old house was leaving our yard. We have been at our new place for all 4 seasons now and I've been pleasantly surprised with how pretty the trees are.

I had to get a new phone this month.
We've had fun trying out the camera and all of the apps.

Olivia wasn't too impressed with the dressing up idea.

Olivia still enjoys being worn around.
However she prefers to be facing out so she can see what is happening.

One night for mutual they had the drug dogs come and do a presentation. Kyler got to tag along with Jason.

Kyler had a couple of field trips during the month.
His favorite was the canoeing trip.

Carving pumpkins and grandma Shirley's annual Halloween party.
