February's Little Things

I can't believe February is already OVER!!!
We started the month with a visit from Kimberly and dinner at Maddox. It's not too often that just the siblings get together (missing Todd), but I think we need to make it happen more often.

We also had an early Valentine's Party/Super Bowl party while she was in town.

This was our first time getting to make/hand out Valentine's at school. Both Kyler and Khloe were pretty excited.

Olivia had some weird neck/head pain that just came on suddenly and lasted for a couple of days. She cried in pain every time she would lay down. She ended up sleeping in the chair sitting up for a couple of nights.

Enjoying a snack board while watching a Come Follow Me video after church.

Olivia wakes up with the sun every morning (not looking forward to Summer when it rises at 5:30 a.m.) dresses herself, usually with clothes from her laundry basket since that's all she can reach.

During the month of February I signed up for the Heart Beat Challenge at Jazzercise. I had to complete 25 classes in 29 days!!!
It was a good way to keep me motivated and exercising daily:))

 Our luck finally ran out!!!
After being healthy ALL season long, it finally
caught up with Olivia.

The girls enjoyed sleeping over at grandma and grandpa's house while we were in St. George. The highlight was the new baby calf that was born.

February is dental health month, so we enjoyed a fun field trip to the dentist office.

With Khloe's birthday right around the corner we enjoyed a girls shopping day to get ideas for her party.

We planted our peas and can't wait for the growing season to begin.

A weekend in St. George

I'm wishing it were last weekend and we were in sunny St. George.
Since Jason and I both celebrate birthdays around the holidays they tend to get over shadowed by the craziness that comes that time of year. We always make the comment that we should find a time to celebrate later in the year. We actually stuck to our word and enjoyed a couple of nights in St. George, KID FREE!!!

We enjoyed soaking up the sunshine, going out to eat, shopping, and walking around the parade of homes.

A few of my favorite design elements from the home show.

Valentine's Day

I LOVE when holidays fall on a Friday.
For me it's much more relaxing and enjoyable.
The entire day was spent with the ones I LOVE most.

We started the day with donuts for breakfast.
Followed with baking sugar cookies with the girls, trying a new hair style on Khloe, and a lunch date for me and Olivia.

That evening we enjoyed a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's, opened a small gift, and enjoyed a family movie night.
