Back to School...FINALLY

After a 6 month Summer the first day of school FINALLY

arrived!!! I think we were all ready and a little ANXIOUS.

Kyler started 5th grade and Khloe started 1st grade.

We held our traditional back to school dinner and introduced the new theme for the school year.

August's Little Things

WOW, why do I always do this to myself?!!!
I'm two months behind on blogging.

I have a REALLY slow internet connection and to make matters worse, blogger has changed their format which isn't very user friendly:((

So in an attempt to get caught up here is a real brief overview.

 

The first part of August we attended the Cache County Fair. It was a welcomed normal activity.

The .99 cent packets of sunflower seeds were well worth it!!!

The garden really started to produce during the month of August.

 

We enjoyed an evening at Willard Bay with some friends.

 

We spent another evening at Willard Bay with some ward friends.

Baseball season wrapped up. Kyler's team did AWESOME!! They ended up placing 2nd.

We spent a couple of days utilizing the produce from the garden. My mom came and helped me can a ton of tomato juice.

We enjoyed an evening out with the adults and enjoyed beautiful Station Park.

The un"FAIR"

Thanks to 'RONA' the fair was far from normal and I'm honestly surprised that they even went through with any of it!!! We attended the rodeo a couple of nights, which the kids enjoyed. Kyler won a cool belt buckle by participating in race.

We also watched cousin Annie show her steer one day and that pretty much sums up our fair experience this year:(
