A week of Graduations...

May has been a busy month!!!
Every year as preschool comes to an end I'm always busy trying to get everything
ready for graduation and finished for the year.
It is probably my least favorite part of having my own preschool.

This year I had mostly boys which made for a busy and kind of hard year.
So when last Thursday night rolled around, I was kind of glad to wrap up the year and
enjoy a three month break before doing it all over again.

Kyler has loved preschool this year and has learned so much.
So when all of the other kids got to sit on the stage and sing he didn't want to be left out.
He even started our program by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Last night we attended graduation for my little brother Ty.
I can't believe how fast he has grown up and it makes me realized that before we know it
we will be sitting at Kyler's high school graduation instead of his preschool one.

Congrats Ty!!!
We look forward to seeing what life has in store for you.

Adventures at Bear World

Bear World in Idaho has been on our list of
weekend adventures for over a year now.

After seeing the adorable baby bears at Baby Animal Day in Logan, we knew Bear World would be a
fun place to take Kyler.

So this past weekend we loaded up for a little overnight vacation to Idaho Falls. Kyler loves going on vacation, especially the swimming at the motel.

Visiting the falls by the temple.

So we got more than we expected at Bear World.
We started out with the driving tour, where you are suppose to drive around at 3 miles per hour and not stop.
We were having a great time looking at all of the animals.
(bears, wolf, bison, elk)

The fun really began when this blue car in front of us
decided to stop. I guess the bears are feed out of a big truck so
they know when a vehicle stops that there must be food.

I guess this is why they tell you not to STOP!!
Since this car was stopped so were we.
Guess who decided to come and do the same thing to our car?

We were dying!!!
Not from fear, but from excitement/laughter.
I was laughing so hard, Kyler was crying from me laughing, and Jason was trying to figure out how to keep him from ripping off our mirror.

We didn't want to drive off to fast, because we had one bear hanging on the side and one in front standing up to the hood.
Finally, the park ranger came and scared them off.

Unfortunately, this is what our hood looked like when we got back to the parking lot.
Hopefully we will be able to buff the scratches out.

Not much could top that excitement, but we spent the next hour or so walking around the visitor center which included the baby bears, a petting zoo, and a few amusement rides (all Kyler cared about.)

What a fun weekend!!!
I would highly recommend Bear World if you are looking to see some wild animals.
There's no need to drive all the way to Yellowstone.
Just make sure you drive an old car through the park!!!

Joys of little Boys...

As I was organizing some pictures I came across some random pictures of Kyler.
He is ALL boy.
He is daring, curious, and adventurous.
He loves anything that is motorized and that he can ride.
He loves getting dirty.

His new way of driving his tractor. He puts one foot on the gas pedal and lets the other leg drag around as he drives.

Hopefully we have many, many years until he wants to try this!!
