Bee's Baseball Game

Kyler had a fun experience with his baseball team this past weekend. They were chosen to be the honorary team for one of the Bee's home games. They got to go down on the field and be announced on the jumbo tron, warm-up with Bee's players, and take a tour of the facility.

It was a fun night spent with my boys!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend fits the mold for a perfect weekend:
Family time, good food, traditions, low key, and projects.

This year we added a Bee's Baseball game to the mix and it was the perfect way to kick off summer!!!

Sunday we had a cookout with my dad's side of the family.
The kids sure LOVE their grandpa's!!!

Monday we got together with my mom's side of the family for a reunion in the little town that she grew up in. I have such happy memories from my childhood with cousins on that side.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day Weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the year, not because I get to be the center of attention, but because I get to celebrate something that I LOVE being!!!

This Mother's Day was pretty GREAT!!!
A few highlights included:
*Going shopping for flowers for the yard.
*Family parties on both sides.
*Primary children singing in sacrament meeting.
(Khloe refused to go up and sing)
*My Mother's Day gift from Jason and the kids.

"You Are My Sunshine"

Olivia's 1st birthday was themed around
"YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE"

She is such a BRIGHT spot in our life/family that this theme was very fitting, plus who doesn't LOVE yellow!!!

O.N.E

1 Year
12 Months
52 Weeks
365 Days
8,760 Hours
Time is a funny thing!!!
The first 3 months of Olivia's life time seemed to stand still.
She was a very fussy baby (acid reflux) and cried a lot of the time.
She constantly needed held upright and that only stopped the crying part of the time. She slept on my chest most nights in the recliner to help ease the pain (probably not the safest). I remember being so exhausted and sleep deprived and couldn't wait until I could sleep through the night again.

She hated being in her car seat (still does), and would scream the entire time so we just stayed home. It was a L.O.N.G summer.
But as time passed she got easier and happier.
I would go back in a heartbeat and repeat this past year, the good and the bad. Oh how I wish time could stand still!!!!

Things I want to remember about Olivia at
1 YEAR OLD

She is busy, busy, busy!!!
She climbs on everything, gets into everything, and goes everywhere. Jason says she got my get up and go personality and his adventurous side. Speaking of traits that she got from us, everyone that sees her says she must be a Walker. She has a lot of physical traits that I had as a baby, but she did get her daddy's eyes (and chubby feet).

She is happy most of the time, unless she is hungry. Speaking of hungry, she LOVES to eat!!! She loves fruit, especially blueberries, ham, toast, asparagus, mashed potatoes, ice cream, suckers.
She loves drinking milk from her bottle and I love it because I get to cuddle her.

She loves to blow kisses (picture below), play pat-a-cake, play peek-a-boo. She loves her baby dolls and blankies and carries them around giving them loves. She loves to go for wagon rides around the block, and LOVES to be outside.

She sleeps through the night and takes a 2-3 hour afternoon nap.
She says da-da and ma-ma (finally).
She has 2 bottom teeth.
Weighs 19 lbs.
Wears size 12-18 months clothes.

She loves anything wet.
Bath time, brushing her teeth, puddles, sippy cups, or wash cloths:)
I'm sure she is going to love summer time and playing in the pool.

A few of her dislikes: being in her car seat, eggs, going inside, when Khloe takes toys away from her, being quite in church,  holding still while being changed or dressed, wearing headbands, and getting sunscreen on her face (she is my first child that burns easily without it:(

She has the sweetest spirit and has blessed our family so much!!!
Although I don't want time to pass, I am EXCITED to see more of her personality develop and all the new things she can do.

 Happy Birthday Olivia.
WE SURE LOVE YOU!!!!!
