April's Little Things

April summed up in a few words:
Nice Weather.
Egg Hunts.
Easter.
Yard Work.
And cooking, cleaning, homework on REPEAT!!!

Reality

I'm not going to lie, I'm HAPPY to see the month of
April come to and end!!!
Hopefully we are one step closer to getting back to NORMAL life.
Here are a few things that I wanted to document/remember about life right now.

Waiting in line, six feet apart to enter the store when they
open in the morning.

Weeks of empty shelves for toilet paper/cleaning supplies.
Signs on shelves limiting the quantities you can buy.

Trying to teach preschool digitally.
(Which didn't last long. Way to intimidating).

Glad for those teachers who are teaching online, especially when it comes to teaching fractions:(

Wearing masks into the grocery store.

Exercising from home.
It's not near the same workout, especially when you are interrupted 20 times in an hour.

Delivering weekly thought/treat to our Young Women girls.

Settling into a routine for our weekly Sacrament meeting.

I'm hoping as each week passes by we are able to get back to the good ol' days!!!

Branding Day

A typical Spring is FULL of yard projects, weekends at Lagoon, and nights at the ball park. We usually don't make it to branding day because of busy schedules. Well this Spring is anything but typical and we are learning that maybe FULL schedules aren't all they are cracked up to be. All 3 kids LOVED the freedom that comes with country living. They rode horses, played on a giant pile of dried out manure, rode in the tractor and side by side, and helped where they could with the baby calves.

Hopefully as life gets back to normal we will remember the lessons learned and what is truly important and when next Spring rolls around we make time in our "busy" schedules to participate in
Branding Day.
