Reasons why I love St. George...

This past weekend Jason and I got away to one of my favorites places for a few days to relax and enjoy some warmer weather. We have made it a tradition to go to St. George every February and try to escape the winter blues that we all feel and try to satisfy our spring fever. Here are a few of the things that we love about St. George.

Reminiscing about the good old college days. I attended Dixie College and absolutely loved it. It's fun going back to some of my favorite spots and remembering what it was like to be young and carefree. I can't believe how fast time goes. It has been 7 years since I graduated from college.

The next thing I love about St. George is the landscaping. I wish we could have palm trees in northern Utah. I love them!! It is so nice to see nice green lawns and flowers starting to grow instead of piles of snow everywhere.

One of the things we always do while we are down there is to attend the parade of homes. The homes are so incredible and it amazes me how some people live. This picture is showing the outdoor living space of a 3 million dollar home. It was a 15,000 square foot home and had everything you could ever dream of.

I can't leave St. George without going and walking around my favorite temple. I love how it is so pure and white. I have many memories of going to the temple and sitting on the peaceful temple grounds when I was feeling home sick or just needed to get away from roommates.

Last but not least one of my favorite things about St. George is being able to get away from the stresses of life and just enjoy a fun weekend with my hubby!!
