Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Today I am Thankful that I get to spend the day with

Family.

I'm thankful that we live close to both sides and get to spend time with them.

I am thankful for my own little family.

Today I am Thankful for a Clean House

(although it doesn't stay that way long),

that my Christmas Decorations

are all up,and that tomorrow begins the

Holiday Season!!!



Being Thankful...Day 22

Today I am Thankful that I have the next 6 Days Off for

Thanksgiving Break. 

Today at Preschool we had our 

Thanksgiving Dinner.

We made Pilgrim and Indian art projects.

We sang songs, read stories and learned everything

there is to know about Thanksgiving, I'm glad I have a few days to relax.

I'm looking forward to decorating for Christmas, baking yummy food

for Thanksgiving, shopping some sales, and just spending time

with my family!!!



Being Thankful...Day 21

Today I am Thankful that Jason made it home Safely from

his trip and that he was able to make

 Memories

and spend some time with his parents.

I'm also Thankful that he is back and can Help with Kyler.

 Last week Jason was able to go with his parents and brother Jake to the Dominican Republic. I've said it before, but Jake works for Jet Blue and since he isn't married he gets to have a travel buddy to fly free with him. So Jason and Jake try to take one trip each month. Sometimes they are short trips over the weekend and other times they go further and take a few more days.

So Jake found this AMAZING deal to the Dominican Republic to an all inclusive resort for 5 days. Because they didn't have to pay for air fare it only cost them $11.00 dollars a day!!! I thought for sure it must have been a scam or when they got there it was going to be a total dump, but by the looks of the pictures it looks like it was a beautiful place.

Being Thankful...Day 20

Today I am Thankful for Healthy Parents. I'm also Thankful

that they are always willing to tend Kyler when we need them.

I'm so Thankful that we live close enough that we get to see them

on a regular basis.



Being Thankful...Day 19

Today I am Thankful for my Camera & Photography. I love

being able to capture precious moments.

I'm also Thankful for people you are willing to let me practice on them.

I LOVE taking pictures, but still have a lot to learn and need a lot

of practice.

Being Thankful...Day 18

Today I am Thankful that I get to be a Mother. During those 5 years of waiting, I sometimes doubted if it would ever happen. It didn't happen the way that I had always planned or dreamed about, but I'm so thankful that Heavenly Father had a special plan to bring Kyler into our family.

He is a perfect fit!!!

Being Thankful...Day 17

Are you getting sick of me yet? Only 1 week until Thanksgiving so only a few posts left.

Today I am Thankful for Beautiful Surroundings, especially flowers.

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE flowers. 

I love buying them, planting them, taking care of them,and the only things that would 

be better is if I had my own greenhouse and could grow them. 

I'm Thankful for the beauty that surrounds us.

I'm Thankful for the big mountains that we are nestled up against.

I'm thankful for beautiful sunsets. 

I'm Thankful for changing seasons that gives us spring blossoms & fall leaves.



Being Thankful...Day 16

Today I am Thankful that I'm Not a Single Parent. Man it's a lot of work doing it by yourself.

I am also Thankful for YouTube video's that keep my 2 year old entertained when

nothing else seems to work. But most of all I'm Thankful

that it is finally bedtime and I can have 2 minutes to myself.

What a long day!!!!

Only 4 more to go until Jason gets home.



Being Thankful...Day 15

Today I am Thankful for Technology

 (although sometimes I waste too much time using it). 

I am thankful that I have been able to reconnect with friends from the past. I am thankful that I have a place to journal and document our lives. I am thankful that I am able to get most of my Christmas shopping done while enjoying the comforts of my own home. I am Thankful that I am able to get ideas for preschool from others. I am thankful that I will still be able to communicate with Jason while he is in the Dominican Republic for the next 5 days.

Being Thankful...Day 14

Today I am Thankful for Good Health

and Medicine.

We seem to stay pretty healthy at our house, but occasionally we seem to pick up

someones germs.

(I'm sure it doesn't help having 16, 4 year old in your house coughing, sneezing, and picking their noses.) 

Last night we had to take Kyler to the Instacare, because he was running a 103 degree fever

all day. He was one unhappy little boy. After checking him out and doing a strep test, (which came back negative) they gave him some medicine and he is feeling much better today.

Let's hope we can get over this and then stay healthy for the holiday season!!!

Being Thankful...Day 13

Today I am Thankful for Temples and that we can be

sealed to our families for eternity. We are so blessed 

to live in a time when there are so many temples surrounding us. 

I am so excited for the Brigham City Temple to be completed. It still amazes me that

little old Brigham City is going to have it's own temple.

Being Thankful...Day 12

Today I am Thankful for Food. We just got home from a few days in

Park City and one of the must have stops includes Kneaders for

their amazing french toast.

I am thankful that we are able to provide for one of our most basic needs

and that we don't have to experience what it would be like

to go hungry. Sometimes we take the littlest of things for granted such as food,

clean water, electricity, and shelter.

I can't imagine what life would be like without any one of those things.

Today with it being Veteran's Day I am Thankful for those men & women you fought to 

Protect our Country.

They have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms and to make this such 

a great country to live in.  

Being Thankful...Day 10

Today I am Thankful that I get to head up to Park City and enjoy a couple of relaxing days with my boys. I'm also thankful that I get to get started on some Christmas Shopping!!!

Being Thankful...Day 9

Today I am Thankful for a Hard Working Husband who supports our family and allows me to be a stay at home mom. He left this morning at 7:00 and just walked in the door from work. (7:30 p.m.)

 

                                                I'm also Thankful for a Loving Husband who
                                                 always puts my needs first and loves be unconditionally.

                                                But most of all I am Thankful for the Great Dad
                                                 that he is to Kyler!!!
                                       First thing everything morning Kyler asks where dad is? He is one
                                                                lucky boy to have such a fun dad.

                                           Thanks for working so hard for our family!!!
                                           Maybe in the next life you can be a ski bum.

Being Thankful...Day 8

This might seem silly, but today I am Thankful for Leftovers. After a rough day at preschool and dealing with backed up plumbing issues, I'm thankful that I don't have to cook dinner tonight.

I am also Thankful for a husband who is not picky and will eat anything

without complaining.

Today (and everyday for that matter) I am Thankful for

Michelle.

Kyler's beautiful birthmom.

If it weren't for this amazing, strong, courageous girl, Jason and I would not be parents. She has given us the most selfless gift any one could possibly give another human being.

We are eternally thankful for her!!!

Being Thankful...Day 6

 Today I am Thankful for Sunday afternoon Naps. I'm especially thankful for Kyler's daily naps. Those 3 to 4 hours that he sleeps, allows me to teach an afternoon preschool class, clean, laundry, do yard work,etc.

Being Thankful...Day 5

Today I am Thankful for the Magical Feeling that comes with the first Snow of the season.

I love living in a place that gets to experience all 4 seasons. Although some seem to last longer than others, it is always fun to experience the anticipation of the changing seasons.

Today I'm also thankful that we were able to take 20 minutes and snap some pictures for our

Christmas Cards.

The best part was we only experienced a minor melt down.

(I'm thinking of using that last picture and titling it Naughty or Nice!)
