Moana Party

Khloe LOVES Moana, and since I'm not a huge fan of character parties I decided to go with a tropical/hawaiian theme.

I kept things pretty simple (cheap) and actually had a lot of stuff that was left over from when I helped throw my mother-in-law's 60th party a few years back.

 

A cheap and easy way to have a statement piece/backdrop is to make a balloon garland. I used 4 bags of balloons ($1.00 a bag) blown up to different sizes, 1 bunch of flowers also used for Khloe's headband ($5.00 from Wal-Mart), and a couple of palm leaves ($5.00). All the other decorations were things that I had on hand or already had supplies for (preschool business).

 

 

The menu was kept pretty simple, but went along with the theme.

I served Hawaiian haystacks, fruit, rolls, and banana slush.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Khloe Turns Four

 

4 things about Khloe at 4 Years Old

 

1. She LOVES to be at home playing with her toys or watching Netflix. She has the best imagination and can play with anything you give her. With that being said, she doesn't like being out of her comfort zone or sharing. She is really ornery/grumpy when people she doesn't know tries to talk/interact with her (grocery store, church, parties).

 

2. She is very petite and girly. She loves having her nails painted, wearing fancy shoes, and is fascinated with make-up. Most of her clothes are 2T/3T, which means we usually get at least 2 seasons/years out of them. She always gets complimented on what a pretty girl she is, but will usually scowl at the person giving the compliment (refer to #1).

 

3. She is the BEST big sister to Olivia and keeps her entertained a good part of the day. She is always willing to help me fold her clothes, take diapers to the garbage, get her toys, or play with her when asked. Olivia LOVES to try and keep up with her and most of the time the have fun together.

 

4. A few of Khloe's favorite things are:

Activity- Lagoon & playing with cousins

Toy- Spirit (horse)

10 Months Old

Olivia is another month old and with that comes another milestone.

She is able to STAND on her own and has even attempted to take a step or two.

She is by far by busiest/most active baby.

She climbs onto anything she can.

She gets into anything she can.

And she is all over the house.

She is also my best eater and often times out eats Khloe.

We haven't found anything that she doesn't like, but she prefers to feed herself, which results in a big mess:).

My momma heart breaks each month as she gets older, but I also LOVE the phase of life that she is in right now!!!
