Halloween 2018

When your 18 month has hair like Olivia's you have to run with the idea and have her dress up like Baby Trump for Halloween:))

I'm sure she won't appreciate when she gets older, but she sure had fun riding around in her limo trick-or-treating.

Of course every president needs his secret service and
fellow supporters.

October's Little Things

October is such a BEAUTIFUL month.
I feel like we really got out and enjoyed the leaves this year.
The prettiest drive that we took was up to Tony's Grove.

We enjoyed a girls shopping trip over Fall Break.
I look forward to more days like these as they grow.

Kyler learned some tough lessons this month.
He wasn't responsible with his library book and had to use his own money to replace it.
He then decided to give Khloe a hair cut so he had to use his own money once again to get her a professional hair cut.

We were pretty impressed with our pumpkin patch this year.
I don't know what it is, but they are my favorite thing to grow.

I got to tag along with Khloe on her 1st field trip with preschool.

Kyler went on a field trip to the City of Rocks.
They hiked around and even did some rock climbing.

Speaking of Kyler he earned his wolf badge at scouts.

One Friday night before Halloween the boys headed to Frightmares at Lagoon. I decided to stay home with the girls since it is a little scary.

Jason went on his yearly guys fishing trip to Island Park.
He had the BEST time and was able to stay in this million dollar cabin.

Jason and I enjoyed a date night with his brother and sister-in-law.
We enjoyed a fancy dinner to Café Molise (a little to fancy for my taste) and then we went to Matt Townsends date night.

After 6 months of waiting we FINALLY finished our kitchen remodel.

I ended the month with throwing a Halloween party at preschool.

Carving Pumpkins

Every year towards the end of October we get together with the cook family for a
pumpkin carving party!!!

We enjoy an evening of yummy food, creative pumpkin carvings, and family/cousin time.
This year we couldn't have asked for better weather!!!

Pumpkin Patch FUN

We couldn't let Fall slip away without spending an evening out at Ferry's Pumpkin Patch.

This has quickly become one of our fall bucket list items.
The kids LOVE all of the fun activities and I LOVE that they can run around and explore and I don't have to be a helicopter parent.

Olivia is such a ball of energy!!!
If I could figure out how to upload a video of her running through the straw maze I would. She amazes me at what she can do at 18 months.

I feel so blessed to live where we do!!!
