THANKFUL

More than ever, this Thanksgiving I have so much to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love how simple it is and that it allows us to really focus on what's important in life. So here are a few of the things that I am most thankful for.
Zack and Michelle There aren't words to express how thankful we are for these two. They have given us the greatest gift possible. They are our hero's and we love them to pieces.

Kyler I love this little guy so much and I can't believe I get to be his mommy. He is such a sweet baby, and I'm loving every minute with him.

Our Home I'm thankful for a nice, warm, comfortable home. We have been in this house for 2 years now and we love it.

Dora

Cook Family

Walker Family
We feel so blessed to live close to both sides of the family. We love spending time together building memories.

Our Family I love that I can say that now. I have 2 incredible boys in my life and I couldn't be more blessed. Jason is such a wonderful husband and father and works so hard to provide for us. Life couldn't get any better!!!

Precious...
Here's a look at Kyler's newborn pictures. I had Nicole Nelson from Tremontan do them and I think she did a fantastic job!!! I love how she captured how precious and little newborns are. Even though he will grow up fast I will always have these pictures to remind me of what a little miracle he is. PRICELESS!!!

Let the holidays begin...
So Halloween isn't one of my favorite Holidays, but now that we have a child I might change my mind about that. In years past Jason and I never really had any plans, so we would end up sitting over at his parents house watching all of the little kids come trick-or-treating. Some of the hardest times of dealing with infertility were on holidays. Kids bring back that magic of your own childhood. I am so excited to start traditions with our little family and create magical moments for Kyler. So this year for Halloween we dressed up as a family and went trick-or-treating. We only made a few stops because I didn't want Kyler picking up any germs, but we still had fun.

It was hard choosing what to have Kyler wear since he got 3 different costumes and 2 Halloween outfits.
We decided to go with a zoo theme. Kyler the monkey, dad the gorilla, Dora the tiger, and mom the zoo keeper of all the animals.

We wore our little monkey right out.

One last picture of Jason goofing off while carving pumpkins.

It is amazing how fast in a years time life can change so much. I remember last year my post for Halloween was kind of sad. We were just starting the adoption process and had no idea how long we would wait before we were chosen. We had no idea that in just 10 short months (didn't feel very short), a sweet birthmom would give us the most priceless gift. Something that Jason and I couldn't give each other. We feel so blessed and couldn't be any happier. So as we start this holiday season let's take the time to enjoy the little things in life and not let all of the busy worldly things crowd out what is the most important, and that's family!!
