Halloween 2016

Our costumes this year were simple, but had a 

"BIG WOW FACTOR"

Considering my current state we thought it would be fun to dress up as a family of skeletons and announce our exciting news!!!

Weekend Words

October has to be one of the best months for weather in Utah.

The temperatures are perfect and the scenery is stunning.

Last weekend was no exception. 

Saturday was spent in the yard getting the yard ready for winter:(

We also gave Lucy her first bath, which she really didn't enjoy. 

That night we did a double date with Jake, Lauren, and the kids.

After enjoying dinner at Firehouse Pizza we went to the Haunted House that the high school was hosting. 

It ended up being a little too scary for Kyler, but we enjoyed playing the carnival games and hanging out. 

Sunday the long awaited Halloween party that Kami throws finally arrived. The kids had fun dressing up, playing games, and winning fun prizes. 

We ended the night trick-or-treating at the grandparent's house. 

Fall Break 2016

Fall Break 2016 can be summed up in one word: 

SIMPLE. 

In years past we have planned a vacation which is always fun, but this year we needed something low key and relaxing. 

Thursday

The kids and I went to Logan and ran some errands for preschool. While over there we ate lunch at Chick-fil-a, my kids favorite, and enjoyed walking around the pumpkin walk. 

Friday

We had to get one last Lagoon day in before our season passes expired. It was a beautiful Fall day which brought out insane amounts of people!!! We still managed to have fun and hit up our favorite rides. 

Saturday

We started our day off with a yummy breakfast at Bert's Cafe and then spent the rest of the day working off that breakfast with 

YARD WORK.

(Fall clean up is my least favorite part of gardening.) 

Sunday

Grandma Shirley put on her annual pumpkin carving/Halloween party. The spook alley was the favorite part for Kyler and the least favorite part of the night for Khloe.
