Things I Love...
With it being the month of love I have noticed that many have posted on their blogs what makes them smile or what they love. It looked like fun so here are some things that I Love...
I Love... waking up every morning knowing that I get to spend the day with these two. I love feeding Kyler his morning cereal and listening to the cute smacking sounds that he makes and how he gets so worked up if you don't feed him fast enough.
I Love... that these two amazing people had enough faith and courage in Jason and I to place their sweet baby boy with us. There are not words to express the love we feel for them!!
I Love... my new Kitchen Aid that I got for Christmas.

Super Bowl Party
So I'm not a huge fan of watching football so the super bowl isn't that big of a deal to me. Although I do enjoy the get together that usually come with it. Especially this time of the year after being stuck in the house all week, any kind of change it nice. My mom invited us out to enjoy the afternoon with great food, talking, and watching a few commercials here and there. Not all of the family was able to come because of sickness. I sure hope spring comes soon so everyone can get feeling better and so I don't have to worry so much about Kyler catching something.
While the boys ate in front of the T.V. the girls enjoyed playing with Kyler. His bib is so true. Chicks dig me!!
Such a handsome little guy. I love how his cheeks are starting to fill out. So kissable!!
Playing with aunt Kami. He loves all of the attention that he gets when we get together with the family. I think he gets tired of just seeing me all day long.
Joe, Kami's boyfriend getting a good laugh at Ty.
Ty loosing the bet that he made with Jason about which team would win. The looser had to roll around in the snow in their underwear. Man I would have like to seen Jason do this. Too bad the snow was frozen solid and crunchy. It made for some painful rolling. What a good sport Ty is.
So that pretty much sums up the day. Not sure who won the game, but then again I really don't care.

4 Months
Kyler turned four months on Saturday, but I wanted to wait until we went to the doctors yesterday to post about him. Can I just say that I'm loving this age. I think it is the perfect age. He is such a happy baby and has the cutest personality. So at 4 months old he weighs 12 lbs. 8 oz. (15%) and his height is 24 1/2 inches (45%). So he is a little guy, but very healthy. I'm just hoping that he will fit into all of the cute spring/summer outfits that he has, and that it won't be the wrong season when he finally does.
He learned how to roll a week ago and is getting really good at it. He is a strong little guy and can get up on his knees and arms. I'm afraid it won't be long before he learns to crawl. He is a great sleeper during the nights and will usually go 8 or 9 hours straight. I'm loving this!!! He has the cutest smile, but doesn't seem to like the camera. Every time I get the camera or video camera out he just sits and stares at it, although he loves to stick his tongue out for me. He is getting very interactive and loves to make all sorts of adorable baby sounds. He loves to hold onto things and tries to put everything in his mouth.
We love this little guy so much and feel so blessed to have him be a part of our family.

Goodbye January
Man it has been forever since I have posted anything. January seems like such a boring month, but then as I was going through all of the pictures from the month I realized it wasn't so bad. We started out the month celebrating my birthday. Last year before the big 30 I guess I had better enjoy it!!
Gary and Shirley took us out to eat for my birthday to one of my favorite restaurants the Pizza Factory.

In the middle of the month we celebrated Jason's grandma's 80th birthday by throwing her a surprise party. It was a lot of fun getting together and visiting with family that we haven't seen in awhile. It was also Kyler's first time meeting a lot of his cousins and extended family.

Snow, snow, and more snow!! After many big snow storms we decided to take advantage of it and have some fun. We dressed Kyler up in his snow suit and took him out (only for a few minutes) and got some fun pictures.
He wasn't sure what to think of it.
We have also enjoyed going night skiing up to Wolf Mountain. The snow up there this year has been great. We usually take my sister and brother with us. I'm still a beginner, but I'm gaining more confidence in myself.

Here's the pro showing me how it is done. He is so patient with me and never makes me feel rushed.
Last weekend we went ice skating with one of my friends that I use to teach with and her husband. We went over to Logan and went to the outdoor rink that is down on the island below the temple. It was a lot of fun and had a gorgeous view of the temple. What a great workout! I'm still sore today, although it's probably from my nice fall.
