If I had to sum 2016 up in one word it would be Stressful.
Even though many of the things that took place we consider to be blessings, during the moment they caused us a lot of stress.
January:
The year started out relatively calm.
We enjoyed the slower pace of the winter months and tried to get in as many family ski days at possible.
February:
February fit into the "stressful" category.
One of our fun family ski days turned not so fun when Kyler had an accident and broke his femur.
He got to experience his first ride in an ambulance, first surgery, and the real hard part, being in a wheelchair for 6 weeks.

March:
During the month of March we celebrated Khloe turning 2 and Easter. We tried to get out of the house as much as possible for all of our sanity and the easiest thing to do with Kyler was to go to the movies.
April:
After 6 weeks of being unable to walk, Kyler finally got the go ahead to walk again!!! For Spring Break we decided to celebrate and went on a week long vacation to San Diego.
May:
The month of May is always busy trying to finish up preschool for the year, working in the yard, and the end of school.
We enjoyed watching Kyler in his end of year program for Kindergarten. We also went on our annual trip to St. George over Memorial Day weekend.
June:
June is one of my favorite month of the year.
We spend a lot of time in the yard enjoying the lazy days of Summer. However a crazy hail storm came through our area and trashed all the flowers that I had just planted a few weeks earlier.
Luckily they all bounced back with time and a lot of work.
We also enjoyed summer evenings playing with cousins at grandma and grandpa's house.
July:
We went on a couple of different hikes as a family during the month, enjoyed cousin day at Lagoon, and Jason and I celebrated our 12th anniversary.
August:
August was the month of on the go. We enjoyed a family camping trip to Bear Lake, a weekend in Park City, Kyler's first day of 1st grade, and the fair.

September:
After debating on when the right time to get Kyler a dog was we finally found the perfect one and surprised him with it for his 7th birthday. Two days later I found out I was pregnant!!!
It was a crazy month dealing with a new puppy, starting a new year of preschool, and not feeling the greatest.
October:
After keeping it a secret for 12 weeks(hardest thing ever) we finally announced to our families that we were expecting!!!
November:
Kyler had his second surgery to remove the metal plate and screws from his leg. This time around was much easier and he was only down for a week. Towards the end of the month we ended up putting our home up for sale, making an offer on another one, and selling ours all within a weeks time.
December:
We tried to enjoy the magic of the season, but with Jason's crazy work schedule and moving two weeks before Christmas it wasn't always the easiest. We celebrated our first Christmas in our new home and enjoyed finally being able to slow things down.
Although 2016 was somewhat stressful we were incredibly blessed!!! Things that we are looking forward to in 2017:
Getting settled into our new home and making it ours.
Welcoming a new baby sister the first part of May.
Kyler getting baptized in September.
Khloe being potty trained!!!
