One Chapter Ends and A New One Begins
So it was a little strange this morning knowing that I didn't have to wake up and get ready at 6:30 or pack a lunch. I wasn't concerned if I had all my lesson plans ready for the day. I didn't have to stand outside in the freezing cold and do my playground duty. I wasn't worried how I was going to make sure that 26, eight year olds were nice to each other, payed attention while I was teaching a lesson, and remembered all of the class room routines from the long Christmas break. Instead I woke up at 5:00 and cuddled with my baby and didn't care what time it was, stayed in my pajama's until 9:00, watched Good Things Utah, and enjoyed every second of my day doing my new job. I have always dreamed and wanted to be a stay at home mom and now it's finally happening. I have seen first hand how it important it is for mothers to be at home with their children and the difference that it can make in their lives. I'm so grateful to Jason for working hard and allowing me this opportunity. I know that it can sometimes be challenging and never-ending, but there is no place I would rather be.
It's crazy how fast time flies. I have spent the last 7 1/2 years teaching here at Mountain View Elementary. I spent part of that time teaching 1st grade and part of the time teaching 3rd grade. I have made many great friends and learned many lessons. I hope that I have made a difference in someones life and had a positive influence on them.
